YOU HIRED A TEAM BUT SOMEHOW YOU’RE BUSIER THAN EVER
Your Slack hasn't been quiet since you hired your first team member. Every question, every decision, every "quick thing" routes straight back to you.
You review (and edit) everything before it goes out, not ‘cause you're a control freak, there's just no documented standard for your team to work towards.
Every new hire costs you weeks before they're even somewhat useful. Because the only way to learn how things work around here is to ask you.
You’ve got bigger opportunities on the table, but you’re hesitating because deep down you know the business isn't structurally ready.
You went on holiday.
You lasted about twenty minutes before you opened Slack, because you know the team can't hold things together without you.
Since everything runs through you, the business can only grow as far as you can personally handle (and you're already at capacity)
[WHAT’S REALLY GOING ON]
REVENUE SCALED BUT INFRASTRUCTURE DIDN’T
Let me explain…
At some point, most growing businesses hit the same wall.
You hire a couple of team members, hoping to get your time back. No time is gotten back, however what does happen is that you end up becoming even more essential to it all with even more people waiting on your answers and approvals and relying on you to make decisions.
Put a finger down if…
You’ve scaled the business, increased the revenue, but it can’t even function one day without you.
Every holiday comes with a side of Slack.
Every new opportunity comes with an underlying feeling of dread (yikes).
And every level of growth adds another layer of dependency on you.
Tasks are scattered across Slack threads and a project management tool that you pay for but nobody ever updates.
Finding client information feels like a treasure hunt through your Gmail and Google Drive (minus the treasure).
Processes exist in theory, but really the only reliable place to find the answer to basically anything… is you.
holding your hand as I say this…
Running your business this way isn’t just stressful (lord knows it is), but more importantly it’s a structural and operational risk to your entire business.
and there’s no way to hire your way out of this.
(aka collecting team members like infinity stones is not going to help)

LONG TERM PARTNERSHIP FOR YOUR GROWING BUSINESS
STEADY STATE OPS retainer
Created specifically for the founder ready to grow past what they can personally handle.
An ongoing retainer where I get embedded into every part of your business; your team, your backend systems, your day-to-day operations.
The first few months are dedicated to building the foundations your business has been missing.
From there, I stay on as your operational partner; running what we built, evolving it as you grow, and catching the next problem before it even becomes one.
WHAT YOU'RE ACTUALLY INVESTING IN
-
Right now, everything critical lives in your head, which means the business is exposed every time you're sick, away, or just at capacity. That's the single biggest operational risk your business is carrying right now.
-
Work stops queuing behind your approvals. Projects move faster, clients get a better experience, and your capacity stops being the ceiling on your team’s output.
-
New team members get up to speed in days through a structured onboarding process, instead of costing you weeks of walkthroughs and repeated explanations. Scaling the team finally becomes a relief instead of a burden.
-
You quote larger, more complex work with confidence because you know the team can actually deliver it without you having to sacrifice your energy and sanity.
-
Every operational gap has a cost: slower delivery, missed inquiries, clients turned away because there was no room to take them on. Closing those gaps increases how much revenue the business can actually support.
-
The business stops being capped at what you can personally carry. Because I know you didn’t come this far to only come this far.
inside steady state ops
I always start with a certain period time dedicated entirely to the Steady State Diagnostic, the deep-dive process to fully understand your business.
(non-negotiable - I simply can’t start work without having completed this first)
I sit in on your meetings, review how your team actually communicates, survey everyone on the team with individual follow-ups after. This gives me a deep, intentional understanding of how the business really runs.
By the end of it, you get a full diagnostic report mapping exactly where things stand and what needs to be built first.
one: audit
two: build
This is where everything we uncovered in the Diagnostic gets addressed.
Documented processes, workflows, a project management system your team will actually use, communication structure, and a central home for everything that's been living in your head rent-free.
Built specifically around how your business operates.
three: embed + refine
Building the structure is only half the work; making it stick is the other half.
(the more important half, if you ask me)
We roll everything out properly, watch how your team actually uses it, and catch what doesn't work in practice.
We refine until following the process becomes easier than asking you. This is the point where you start noticing your team going full days without needing you.
four: ongoing management
Once the foundations are in place, my role shifts from stabilising your operations to leading them.
This is where the value compounds: I stay embedded across the business, spotting the next bottleneck before it becomes a problem.
My role is asking the questions you don't have time to ask: what needs to exist before the next hire, the next launch, the next level? And then quietly building it before you need it.
why steady state?
Okayyy, quick physics lesson:
Full disclosure - I switched over to Business and Econ for my GCSE’s so I’m sorry if I butcher this.
Basicallyyyyy, a steady state is reached when a system keeps moving - energy in, energy out, everything flowing but staying perfectly stable (not to be confused with equilibrium).
In simpler terms, a steady state is where everything is balanced, regardless of external pressures affecting it (ahem, exactly where we’re trying to take your business).
Here's what it looks like in your business…
→ You spend your best hours on what's next - crafting the new offer, getting into bigger rooms, creating the new strategies, and building better relationships.
→ Your new hire was contributing by the end of week one. Total cost to you: a welcome call. They got seamlessly onboarded and integrated into the team, and you just got to enjoy meeting them.
→ You said yes to the speaking gig you'd have declined before, because two days away from the business is just that, rather than a catastrophic event to recover from.
→ Decisions get made from clarity, and on your timeline (not in the fifteen panic-fueled minutes you have before your next call).
→ You found out about a problem after your team had already solved it. You didn't even know it existed. Best feeling all week!!
→ You’re confidently quoting projects you’d have called "too big" and not losing a wink of sleep over it, because you know your business can actually deliver.

Meet Your Operations Partner
Starting out as a VA in 2023, I’ve worked inside the backend of quite a few online businesses - so trust me when I tell you, I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I quickly niched into tech work for established online businesses, and fell in love with all things systems, processes, and automations.
In every business I worked with, I kept seeing the same thing: exceptionally talented founders drowning in the day-to-day of running it. Not because they weren’t efficient or hard working enough, but because they hadn’t built the infrastructure beneath their business. They scaled quick, and bringing in more money always felt more rewarding than fixing the mess under the bed (aka your business).
I really wanted to help businesses build that foundation, rather than only managing the symptoms. Sooo, I spent nine months getting CPD-certified as an Operations Manager (talk about perfectionism).
Now I don’t know if human design is still cool or not, but I’m a Projector and it shows up in my work constantly: I'm quite literally wired to see the most efficient, upgraded path forward in any system I look at.
Lucky for you, I'm obsessively type A, deeply loyal to my clients, and a mom to thirteen rescue cats - which probably tells you everything you need to know about how I'll show up for your business.
YOU'RE ALREADY THINKING ABOUT WHAT'S NEXT.
The next hire. The bigger projects.
The revenue your business could pull in.
You've been running those numbers in your head for months
(usually at 2am, if we're being honest).
You don't need to keep white-knuckling a business that's already proven itself. What you need is the operational capacity to hold what's next - and that's exactly what I build.
congratulations, you’ve made it to the end of the world’s longest one-page website.
all this to say: just book a call babe 🤙
seriously, book a free Diagnostic Call and we'll get into where the business is, where you want it to go, and what's standing between the two.
(bring the chaos. I've seen worse, I promise. x)
